Family Training
At MBC we know what a crucial role families play in their child’s development. Our therapists are here to help you overcome the everyday challenges you encounter having a child with special needs. Our family training sessions are centered on the basic principles of behavior, with particular focus on application of these principles within the home and community settings. These sessions are designed for parents, family members, nannies, babysitters, caretakers and professionals who interact with children on the autism spectrum or those who have special needs.
Community Outreach & Training
Our center also provides outreach and training for community members and professionals. Our faculty is available to provide both consultation and outreach to client’s families, schools, medical professionals, other educational support staff (bus drivers, matrons, paraprofessionals) and caregivers (extended family, nannies, babysitters, or respite workers). We work in collaboration with providers in a variety of settings. As an authorized continuing education provider, MBC offers continuous continuing education credits to its employees and professionals within the community. Stay tuned for more learning events for the public!
NYS Behavior Analyst Supervision
As the field of Behavior Analysis continues to grow, MBC continues to meet the need of future professionals by offering on site practicum experience and supervision. We understand the nuances within NYS and the requirements set forth by the office of professions. We are here to help and supervise candidates pursuing licensure and will ensure quality control and accountability of the person being supervised.
